Blowing Rock Inn

The location is excellent for visiting the downtown area, approximately .1 miles from the start of the “strip”. Even so, it was quiet, no issues with noise from the street nor surrounding rooms. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. It had a microwave, a refrigerator and a Keurig-like coffee maker. However, it had an old feeling to it, the air conditioner/heater blew the curtain up when it came on, the carpet was worn looking, and the room felt dark. It was perfectly fine for a single night stay.

This is our go to place in Blowing Rock! This was our 5th stay in the last two years. As always... the room was clean, the site was quiet and peaceful, and the check in/check out processes were clearly outlined. We really enjoy staying at the Blowing Rock Inn!

Positive: beds very comfortable. convenient to shopping. Negative: the door does not shut flush, you can see outside. Carpet needs replacing. Booked king ended up with double. Overall it was good.

Stay was comfortable and the room was clean. These things I very much appreciate. It was quaint, well kept, and I felt safe staying there with my small children and husband. However, the hot water lasted for maybe 5 minutes during each shower both nights of our stay. This was not ideal when having to wash two adults plus two small children each night before bed. I tried my best to rush through the shower with my 1 year old and 5 year old so that the hot water wouldn’t turn ice cold, but both nights it happened before I could finish washing everyone. My husband didn’t get a shower during our stay for this reason. I completely understand that this can be seen as a minor issue, however when paying over $200 a night for a stay, a hot/warm shower for enough time to bathe everyone is kind of a

Always a pleasure staying here, we have been several times. Staff is great, clean room and perfect location. We love the drive up parking and quiet location. We will surely stay here again next time we are in town as we frequent at least twice a year!
