Unfortunately, my experience was far below the standard advertised, and several issues made my stay both stressful and unsafe. I would like to bring the following matters to your attention: Lack of Advertised Amenities: Reliable Wi-Fi was a primary requirement for my booking. Despite being advertised, the Wi-Fi was non-functional for the duration of my five-day stay. Additionally, the OpenKey app failed to work entirely, forcing me to seek manual assistance every time I needed to access my room. The TV failed to work due to no wifi and no cable. Property Maintenance & Damage: There was wet paint in the main lobby and staircases. Consequently, my jacket was stained and ruined. Furthermore, a fire alarm went off at 1:00 AM during the stay, which was incredibly disruptive. Hygiene & Safet

This is a small hotel, in good area of the city. Everything went smoothly, apart from the key app not working on one occasion but it was sorted very quickly. Before I arrived, I received instructions on how to use the app, and the code for the front door. This all worked pretty much without an issue. My room was big enough, with a sink, chest of drawers, and some shelves for clothes to be stored. It also had a TV but this did not work as it only worked through the antenna and had no Internet connection. There were 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets on my floor and at least one was always free when I needed them. They were clean but as the hotel pipes are old, they didn't like too much paper, or other materials, being put down the toilet. Someone obviously did as 1 toilet did get blocked but was qu

Shared kitchens and bathrooms already set the bar low here, and instead of fixing issues the staff sends threatening emails about locking the kitchen overnight, which says a lot about their management style. What completely crosses the line is the rat infestation: I discovered it the day I put leftovers on the floor and rats showed up instantly to join in on the meal inside the room. An email complaint was met with five days of radio silence, and when I finally called reception the response was a blunt “so what do you want us to do?”, followed by a promised callback that never came. On a second call I was told they could “look into it,” but there was no offer to change rooms to something more sanitary or even a partial refund for the remaining week, and no solution whatsoever, leaving me t

The room had a very strange smell. It wasn’t possible to open the window but even so there was a loud fan outside. There was a connecting door to the room next door, which allowed every noise from the guests next door to come through, even just their simple movements. I asked to switch but they were full. The shared bathroom was old and a bit gross. Guests seemed to sit on a chair that was right outside my room at night which was a bit odd. The area is okay, it’s centrally located and has some bustling restaurants but I explored nicer ones and it’s a bit close to some more sketchy parts. I would say you get what you pay for but I paid too much for this stay. Definitely bring earplugs. Very glad I did. The housekeepers work hard but were knocking on the door at 8:30am which seemed a bi

This hotel advertised a communal kitchen Not communal bathrooms And showers. This hotel is also NOT ADA/HANDICAP friendly. There are no elevators in the hotel and very modest handrails. As a new knee replacement recipient lugging luggage up and down stairs was not conducive to my needs. They need to be more clear on the amenities and limitations of this hotel.
