Hampton Inn & Suites West Des Moines/Jordan Creek

The rooms and property were clean and maintained, exactly what you would expect of a Hampton and the reason we chose Hamptons often when traveling. They are in the process of renovating, but while we were there, we hardly even noticed. There were no hooks or towel bar in the bathroom to hang towels or wet swimsuits which seemed a little odd. The shower head was nice and high though which is always a plus for a taller person like me. I'm 6'3" and it was well above my head. The pool was a little chilly, but not overly so and about where the temp is for most hotels we stay at. The hot tub/spa was like warm at best, though, and definitely not hot. Looks like the pool area has not been renovated though and that may be on the list. Overall, this was a nice place to stay and we would stay again

Several family members gathered here to attend events surrounding the tragic death of a very dear one. Liz at the front desk was very helpful upon checkin. ||We loved the floor plan of our unit and everything was sparkling clean. It was supremely quiet. We could gather in the dining area at any time. The only negative was the breakfast lacked any yummy pastries and eggs/sausage were “free breakfast mediocre”. ||Access to I-35 is easy and the area has lots of restaurants and shopping.

Positive: Very clean and staff is nice. Bed was cl comfortable. Negative: Toilet leaked a bit so there was water on the floor. Shower was awful. O water pressure at all. And no place in shower for soap or washcloth.

They got working the front desk remembered my name after seeing one time. That is a good thing. Instead of calling me sir as if to quietly say 'I don't remember your name', he addressed me as Jimmy. Comfortable place to stay. Great breakfast, starts at 6am, ends at 10am.

We recently stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites in West Des Moines, IA near Jordan Creek, traveling as a family of four with two small children. We chose this hotel for the free breakfast and pool—and it didn’t disappoint! From the start, the night manager Liz greeted us warmly and made check-in a breeze. She went above and beyond by providing extra pillows and sharing recommendations for delivery, which was a lifesaver for our weary crew. Her customer service was outstanding. Our room was spotless, with plenty of extra pillows on the beds, a tidy bathroom stocked with towels, and the convenience of a mini fridge and microwave.
