Element West Des Moines

I’ve stayed in many hotels over the past few weeks and this was hands down my favorite. The room was immaculately clean and so well set up. I loved everything about it. The reverse osmosis in the rooms is an amazing touch. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! Breakfast was top notch for a complimentary hotel breakfast. I liked this hotel so much that I booked the element in Moline for the next night even tho it was a little further from where I was going.

What a gem! I brought my 10-year-old grandson here for a staycation and we had the best experience! Sparkling clean and beautifully decorated, comfortable beds with cozy linens, an exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff, and little touches like a beer and wine reception, Wii gaming system, and nice pool with thick towels really elevated the experience. We got one of the simplest rooms and it was stocked with real silverware, porcelain dishes, a toaster, microwave, refrigerator, and sink, and a Keurig coffee maker. Honestly, I couldn’t remember how much I had booked the room for and was pleasantly surprised by the folio. This experience was similar to staying at a luxury brand, but at a more affordable price! ||The hotel is nice, but it’s the staff that really sets this place apart. Hat

This hotel was nothing like I expected. The modern style and design left me serching for a traditional front desk to check into. It took a minute to realize the complimentary cucumber water station was the front desk. The room was somewhat awkward in its design, but the comforter was very snuggly. All of the staff were very helpful and cheery and the breakfast was decent. The "House Style" music during breakfast was also a change of pace. The fitness center was well stocked and even has a corner cable machine. Kudos! Although not my usual style of accommodations, this hotel has what you need.

Element in West Des Moines was the perfect place for our volleyball team to spend the weekend. The hotel rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff were very kind and helpful. There was a big lounge that the team was able to gather and enjoy pizza downstairs and there was a large courtyard outside with yard Jenga and bags. They provided a grill in the courtyard, had a nice bonfire going and even had a hot tub outside! The indoor pool was small but the temperature was perfect if you wanted to take a dip in the pool. Breakfast was provided and had a lot of options. I wasn’t a fan of the sausage and eggs However the fruit was fresh and I loved the parfait station! I highly recommend this hotel!!

First experience at an Element property for a longtime Marriott customer, and I was very impressed with the accommodations in the brand's price bracket. The West Des Moines location is easy to access from I-35 via Mills Civic Parkway, but far enough away from both roads to minimize traffic noise. Guest self-parking wraps around 3 sides of the hotel building, with key access side entrances in addition to the automated front lobby doors. There's a retail complex directly across S. Prairie View Dr. that has several dining & refreshment options plus an anchor Target store; more fast food & sit-down restaurant options are within short drives to the west. During this 4-night stay for my wife & me, the front desk clerks (esp. Alba) were very professional & friendly & helpful. The staff atten
