Hampton Inn & Suites Providence/Warwick-Airport

I choose this hotel for a one night stay, because of its close proximity to the airport. The check-in was quick and easy, and even though I was early, they checked me in pretty quick. The room I had was on the ground floor. I would suggest to have thick socks or keep your shoes in if you stay here in winter, since the floor was really cold. I especially appreciate the condition and setting if the fitness room. The machines are in really good condition, everything is clean and even towels are provided. Breakfast selection was good and satisfying.

Not a bad property. Everyone who works here was lovely. Good breakfast. Good service. Be advised, the bathrooms are outfitted with ridiculous sliding doors that cannot be locked or secured in a closed position. This could be a huge safety problem for families with curious toddlers who long to splash about in the toilet. Was advised by management that every room type comes with them. Seems like an oversight for people who would rather a normal, closable door for their stay. Had to take away some points for that. Made our whole experience less than relaxing.

Positive: Nothing Negative: The rooms were dilapidated, smelly and worn. It is definitely not worth staying even just 1 night for the amount they charge. Run to another hotel!!

Horrible experience. The condition of the room was totally unacceptable. I was supposed to stay 5 nights and I left after only 1. Mold, failing caulk/sealant, rust, and water damage in the bathroom, a literal hole in the bathroom sink basin (NOT the drain, an actual other hole), bathroom sink pressure only a cold trickle. Available furniture in room not as advertised online (no lounge chair, no "oversized desk with ergonomic chair," it was a kitchen type table with two kitchen chairs that were covered in stains and paint and too low to be able to use the table as a desk comfortably), TV gave an error code and didn't work. Hairs/dust/lint residue on the toiletry bottles, crumbs and food stains on the top and bottom of the provided paper towel roll, paint splatters everywhere from presuma

Good things about the stay: my room was large, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The wifi was excellent.|The furnishings in the room were on the shabby side: torn lampshade, corner of the dresser damaged, sofa sagging in the middle, built-in tissue container on the bathroom sink broken off. Everything was tidy, and none of this mattered to the quality of my sleep, but considering the price it was surprising. |I expected they would have a non-dairy milk option at the breakfast but they did not. Usually Hampton Inn breakfasts do. So if you are dairy-free, pack your own milk.|Overall, for a quiet night near the airport this hotel is a good choice
