Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas/Plano Central

I had the great pleasure of staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Plano. I have stayed at many Hilton brand hotels over the years and was very pleased with this hotel. The room, the service, the food, the management and all the staff were fantastic. I was impressed with the kitchen staff that ensured all the appliances were sanitized and that the customers adhered to proper etiquette in refilling their drinks, good for you. However, the best thing was the GM, Emily. We had few issues that we recommended to be fixed in the room when we left, and I was amazed how she wanted every deal of every issue (they were very minor) we had, and then wrote them all down in our presence, and expressed a deep appreciation for us pointing any issues out, wow, who does that today? I am a Hilton Honors diamond member. This means I've stayed a lot of Hilton Hotels all over the country all the time. I have never stayed at this particular property before. We ran into a nice young man named Jeremiah. He was working the desk at night. This kid bent over backward to get us taken care of. Everything from getting food to getting settled to getting into the appropriate room to getting a few things that were missing from it, which were easily missed. This kid was awesome. The hotel itself was very nice and relatively new. I'd highly recommend taking advantage of this place while you can because when they're new, they're still shining and still smell good. This place was great!

Positive: Classy, clean, easy to access, and restful accommodations. Every staff member that I interacted with was friendly, smiling, and professional. I will keep this hotel in mind when traveling Hwy 75. Negative: Nope!

The service was friendly. The room was clean and nice, but there was no bar soap in the shower or on the sink, just squirt bottles of hand soap and shampoo. Taking one star off for that. The breakfast was hot, but they had some sort of watery powdered eggs and hard chewy chicken sausage patties. Another star gone. Adding 1/2 star for the coffee being available any time I was in the lobby and it was good. 3.5 stars :)

We stayed 2 nights and it was a great stay. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The room was a good size room. Jeremiah was very nice and helpful. Rudy was very nice and so helpful, if we needed anything, he was on it. The breakfast was great! Dawn cooked some amazing potatoes. They have a great coffee bar. We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of restaurants and shopping. Twin Peaks restaurant was THE BEST. Saltgrass had a great steak. The only thing I would add is they need outside seating. There is nowhere to sit outside and have your coffee or if you want to have a cigarette.
