Hampton Inn & Suites Cincinnati-Union Centre

The rooms were very clean. I thought they were quite nice. The service desk was very helpful. The electronic key was a nice touch. It is located in a great place central to many restaurants. There was some basic construction going on but was never an issue. It was a bit noisy from being so close to the highway but I wore earplugs and it was hardly noticeable. The one downside is that there wasn't nearly enough parking for when the hotel was full. Lots of people parking along the street and anywhere you could find.

Positive: "" Negative: The refrigerator did not work in my initial room, and when staff finally put me another room...the telephone didn't work. The Hampton Inn is a comedy of errors...I won't ever stay there again! This whole hotel is in a state of disrepair!!

This was the third time in three years we have stayed at this hotel for the Great Ohio Toy Show nearby in Xenia. For the first time, the indoor pool was completely unusable. The water was so cold that my daughter's teeth were chattering when she tried to swim. When I spoke to the front desk clerk, he seemed surprised and stated no one had mentioned it to him previously. He also stated the pool is not "heated" and the water temp would likely stay in the 70s. I find it highly unlikely that no other families complained to staff, as the hotel was full of kids in town for softball, baseball and basketball tournaments and none of the families we encountered in the pool area were happy or satisfied. Overall, room was nice. Great breakfast and quality coffee. Was very disappointed the pool was FREEZING. Had I have known that I would've chose differently. Staff was very friendly and the place looked well maintained. The breakfast attendant was on top of it, it was a busy Sunday morning with soccer tournament 😳 but she did a great job.

The rooms were not what I expect at a Hilton property. They were spacious, but need a good cleaning and general maintenance. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful.
