Hampton Inn & Suites Alexandria

Booked a 2 week stay for work. The representive Andy was so pleasant and helpful. He didn't hesitate to find the answers to my questions. I can honestly say, everyone was very nice. The Environmental Specialists were so sweet and funny but professional. I'll definitely stay again.

WE arrived very late and were warmly greeted by Kevin and offered bottled water. The room was comfortable with shampoo etc in the room.The beds were comfortable with tons of pillows. Mini fridge came in handy. Clean room.The breakfast buffet was very good. The parking is free but fills up quickly. Straight down the road is lovely Old Town Alexandria. My wish would be for comfort height toilets as my old knees creaked when getting up from low down. Everyone was friendly and helpful. A most enjoyable stay, would stay here again

We found the Hampton Inn and Suites Alexandria to be a comfortable experience. Our room was spacious and the atmosphere was quiet. All of the staff with which we interacted were friendly and helpful. A good night of rest and a convenient location.

We arrived around 10pm. Our son was having emergency surgery early the next morning. They said they were out of king rooms so they upgraded us to a king suite. First appearance it looked nice, but that was not true. There was only 1 hand towel and the shower was not clean, in fact there was a bar of used soap in the shower. Down in the lobby dust on the curtain rails and on the items sitting high up covered in dust. As for service well the guy coming onto his shift looked like he hadn’t slept. We stood for about 10 minutes then the lady checked us in. I worked as an executive Housekeeper, this is below standards. No one at the desk the next morning, to greet and send off customers just shows poor customer service. The front desk should always present themself as positive to make the custom

DO NOT STAY HERE if you value your sanity!!! I am writing this as I pack all my things for the 3rd time and moving rooms! The first room i received, I walked in and instantly was greeted at the door by the smell of what I believed to be a mold and a wet dog mix. I immediately did an about-face and went to the lobby to tell them that this room is unacceptable. The lady at the desk was very polite and moved my room and apologized for the inconvenience. The next room was not much better. There was a LOT of hair in the shower! I settled in and went to sleep only to be waken up to a small dogs non-stop barking. I went downstairs again and the front desk lady apologized and said she can move me to another room. I told her I don’t want keep playing musical chairs with rooms, I want to sleep!! I
