Hampton Inn Rochester-Irondequoit

The room was large and nice looking. The front desk staff friendly and helpful. The a/c & heater is not sealed, cold air comes through, traveled over Thanksgiving, and has a very cold draft. The shampoo, body soap, lotion was all empty. The lady who works the kitchen breakfasts was very friendly and helpful. So improve the supplies in the room and the heater, and next time I visit my family, I'll change the 1 star. Simple stuff to fix.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience during my stay at the Hampton Inn Rochester–Irondequoit. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed. Check-in was smooth, friendly, and efficient — exactly what a traveler wants after a long day. The room was comfortable, and well-appointed. The bed was incredibly cozy, and I slept better than I do at home! Everything from the linens to the bathroom amenities felt fresh and well maintained. Housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work. What truly sets this hotel apart is the team. Every staff member I interacted with was warm, helpful, and attentive. Their hospitality turned a simple stay into a memorable experience.

I stayed at the Hampton for a weekend and had a really good experience overall. There was plenty of parking, rooms were spacious/clean, and the location was close to many places I needed to go. The continental breakfast was good, and the customer service was great. The only downside was having a little trouble with our room key (but it was fixed) and a strange smell in the room that was somewhat like sewage. We bought a spray, and that helped. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again.

Spent a well Needed a weekend away from the kids with my husband. Checked out restaurants as well as a comedy show. Went swimming, and was able to just relax. We had a great time. Definitely would suggest this place to friends and family.

Positive: The staff was professional Negative: The General Manager said debit cards couldn't be used for the incidentals hold of $150 which wasn't true which is why I don't know why he said that. I gave the girl at the desk my debit card and she was able to use it for incidentals. Why the lies
