Hampton Inn Richmond-Midlothian Turnpike

So I've been here before always great experience and normally im not one to complain or be a karen(trying not to be now...).... today checking is was great n quick friendly got to my room had to pee so bad. Toilet seat had pee on it. Not clean.... no biggy. Grabbed house keeper few doors down. Can u clean the toilet really quick. She looked at toilet. told me to tell front desk that its not her room. I said can I just get some spray n something to clean it with I dont mind doing it really quick.... no tell front desk. Please talk to this girl. That is crazy. N no it's not a language barrier. The front desk manager gentleman actually came and cleaned it himself smh. Thank u sir u are great and very much appreciated but she needs some guidance...

We have stayed here before. I would recommend it. Very pleasant customer service from Nelly at the front desk and with the breakfast attendant. Room was spacious. comfortable and clean. We would stay here again. What more can we say, but Thank you!

Truly a great experience. Room was spacious , bed was extremely comfortable and staff was very friendly. Sam at the front desk always had a smile and welcomed my team and I in. At one point I needed an extra towel and she quickly helped. Would come again.

I've stayed at this hotel twice both for work. Room was reserved and payed for by my company. The first was niether good nor bad I have no complaints. The 2nd time, I approached the counter to check in. The hotel staff member was on a personal call,which I would not have considered unprofessional, except that he had his phone on speaker. He checked me in then after the fact began telling me how he shouldn't have checked me in because there was no physical credit card. If he shouldn't have checked me in, then I shouldn't have had the room keys in my hand. This made me me unwelcome, and unwanted at that hotel. There is a way to do it without a physical card, your staff member is either lazy or poorly trained or both. This is unacceptable behavior in a hospitality environment. Do better, wi

Room had an "old" smell too it ... nothing that wasn't cured with a little perfume-y product sprayed by my teen daughter and her friend. Location can't be beat - we were in town for a soccer tournament and this hotel was close to the fields, close to things to keep our girls entertained while waiting for the next game and close to plenty of good food options. Have to give some props to the general manager at this location. My daughter left her toiletry bag behind and despite our best efforts to have a member of our team retrieve it, something happened and the bag is MIA. The GM reached out after several days and is working to rectify the situation. His efforts are much appreciated and have helped to reassure us that Hampton Inn is worthy of our trust and future business.
