Hampton Inn Portage

This hotel deserves all 5 stars. We, my wife and I, stayed in 218 room and it was spotless. We were warmly greeted by young fellow at the front desk, and all after was perfect. It was quite and cozy place. Breakfast was also tasty, as I can speak for eggs and potatoes. If I would have a need to stay again, I would choose the same place.

This was an amazing stay. The hotel was immaculate. It had the friendliest staff and they were so accommodating. We arrived well before the check-in time, but Felecia very quickly contacted housekeeping to get a room ready and we were able to check in early.||Great hot breakfast variety that many other hotel chains do not offer. It was so convenient not to have to go out and find a breakfast restaurant in the area. ||If you're looking for a great hotel experience. Look no further. This is, by far, the best hotel in the area.

This hotel has been very recently & very nicely renovated. We travel often for work & have seen many Reno’s - this one was nicely done! Leslie checked us in & was so very pleasant, helpful & professional - we’d like to give 5 stars to her as well! Wonderful hotel & staff!

Positive: Hampton Inns are reliably clean and comfortable. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. Breakfast looked well stocked and fresh. Wish I would have eaten it instead of going to Dennys as my child requested. Negative: There was no shampoo or conditioner in the dispensers. There was construction going on and loud noises in the hallway several times from early morning cleanup.

Stopover on a road trip. Easy to find, well maintained property in the process of some upgrades/repairs (pardon our dust). Not a lot of amenities right nearby but convenient for travel. Kudos to the helpful and friendly staff who accommodated our request to leave a car in the lot for a few nights. Recommend!
