Hampton Inn Grand Rapids-North

We checked into 2 different rooms because the 1st room was not completely set up. Pillows piled at the end of both beds. We were not sure it was cleaned. We called & went to the front desk where the clerk said to go. He was not there & I had to call again. He gave a a second room. SAME problem, pillows piled at the end of both beds. There were no tissue in the tissue box in the bathroom. Very very disappointed. The daytime staff was attentive and nice but that was about it.

Positive: It was clean, the bed was nice, the locations was good Negative: I tried to extend my stay, I was told I would need to move rooms and pay $31 more than my original rate because it was originally a third-party booking. Additionally, the breakfast was very basic and not on par with other nearby properties

Stayed here for a couple of nights. The room was very large, clean and comfortable as one would expect from this chain. The room had been refurbished within the last year or so from the looks of the newer Hampton decor. Good location, it was a short drive to everywhere we needed to go and priced reasonable. Would stay here again.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The room and common areas were very clean, the environment felt safe and welcoming, and the breakfast was fresh and well-organized with good variety. Overall, a very comfortable stay.

This place was much better than the Hilton the night before, but still don't understand why we can't get on Netflix and such at these pricey places. It's our accounts. But at least they had somewhat of a pool. Didn't have to twiddle thumbs in the room, watching generic TV channels.
