Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral

Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach/ Cape Canaveral I can sadly never recommend. I checked in on January 23rd for 2 rooms 1 night each. Upon check in they authorized/charged my card $1326.90. When speaking with the front desk worker she advised that the other worker had not done just an authorization but had already charged my card. While she was trying to figure it out as they were trying to check in my other room as I had 2 rooms that night another employee came up to see if she could help. This employee then began arguing with me that nothing was charged and that they were wrong and wouldn't let me get a word in. This is when the manager Kelly came into the picture. Kelly and I talked and she could see the charges on my account and the print out the hotel gave me. She advised that she would try to

My wife booked the room, said all the rooms have a beach view. While we can see the water from our room, the beach is not visible. Short walk to beach, charged Beach chairs and umbrella to our room. Nice secluded pool with a bar. Hit water never really got hot, was not cold, but was not hot. Plenty of room to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. The room was nice, except for the lack of hot water and the "beach view" I would give it a 5 star.

We’ve stayed here a few times pre-cruise and I think this will be our last. Okay hotel. But for the price there are better options. The price to park a vehicle is simply a money grab. There’s ample parking. The breakfast was a zoo and offerings were below typical Hampton Inn offerings. You’ll be fine staying here, but there’s also better options.

Poor customer service. Every contact was rude. Not helpful and snippy when asked about parking. Misleading pictures that they are on the beach or you can see from your room. Old hotel needs updating. I asked several times about shuttle to port. Was never told it cost money. I have no problem paying but dishonesty doesn't sit well. Pick another hotel! Not very close to the beach.
