Gurnee Motel

Can't explain. just believe reviews.. disgusting roach's in the bed. My room had a clogged bathroom sink. Hair stuck in the front of the shower. Weird walls. Bugs jumping off the flipping bed. White stains on the sheet and cigarette burns on the wall.. get out this is disgusting place I had to cancel it because eww.

If I could give a 0 I would. Roach infested for sure!!! Refused a refund even though I paid for 2 days and stayed less than 10 hours. They have their kids living in this place. 🤮 Even though it states non smoking the entire place including the rooms reek of cigarettes. There are cigarette burns on the bathtubs. Roaches all over the walls, towels are black and old, (they were white at one point). The beds look like they threw them together, don’t even have a comforter. The heater only goes up to 72 and once it’s there it goes down from there. I was sick and was freezing so I wanted it warmer. Do not stay here!!!

Rooms were disgusting. There was crud in the bottom of the shower, the sink was clogged, there were cigarette burns in the blanket. The thermostat was locked at 75 degrees. On the upside, the toilet was clean.... But the toilet paper holder was broken, so... Balance.

When I was homeless with my children, there was ALWAYS a room for me to rent when I had the money and for that I am extremely grateful.

There definitely needs to be a negative rating for this disgusting place. I honestly don't know how they're allowed to legally remain open. I booked off of Expedia thinking it would be ok enough sheet having driven 1700+ miles for a job relocation (of which I started the next morning and needed a good night's sleep). This place was the things that nightmares are made of. 1st, there is no signage indicating that this is the motel, 2nd, we parked to see that there are rooms with broken window glass & 1 that had the blinds just hanging out of the broken window on the outside of the building, 3rd, upon going up the stairs to our room there was a horrible odor throughout the place, 4th, entered the room to find the wall mirror with a large crack in it and a piece of tape over the crack, the do
