Great value and perfect location! The room has its own bathroom (not shared) and has a fridge and microwave. It's about 3 blocks from the Train Station (BART) which is also where the start of the Trolley Ride is on Market Street and Powell. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. One thing though is that the room is small and only good for one person or a couple, not a family of four. All in all, it was an absolutely fabulous stay and will stay here again the next time I'm in SF!

So if you are used to a normal hotel this will not be the place for you. If you are looking for something cheap in San Francisco that is moderately clean I would recommend. The location is great, you can uber anywhere that's popping in under 5 minuets. The walls are very thin so you will hear everything going on in the streets, which is good or bad depending on what you like. The only thing I didn't like was the elevator. I'm all for an old elevator but we ended up having a weird experience where it kept going up and down to different floors for like 3 minutes straight and it wouldn't let us out. After that though we didn't have any problems using it.

I can't call this place a hotel. Definitely unreasonable price even considering the location and San Francisco hotels' high costs. |I wonder where the other person took those nice pictures. We felt some bad smell from the hallway. Small room with falling-off wallpapers (could see Styrofoam behind), smelly bed, and old and dirty furnitures greeted us. In the bathroom, there were very small shower room (no bath tub), slanted sink, and toilet with some black spots (disappeared after flushing). |I had been to the much cheaper hotels, but this is clearly the worst place I had ever been. Can't compare to other hotels of same price range, nor the much lower range. Location is great, but worst facilities outweighs the location. |

Was in San Francisco during Bay to Breakers weekend. This was the cheapest we could find last minute. After reading some of the old reviews about this place I wasn't too excited to go here. But I think that they really renewed this place and our stay was just perfect. A small but clean room with a large television. We could get extra pillows and store our luggage there after checkout without a problem. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, we felt safe and it is a great location. Just what we were looking for.
