Galleria Park Hotel

I cannot say enough good things about the Galleria Park. From my first encounter via two phone calls with Jared to checking in early with Jeffrey and then the entire stay, everything was top notch. Jeffrey was friendly and helpful at check-in and surprised us with an upgrade and an early check-in, which we did not expect. The lobby is lovely, decorated for the holidays with a cozy fire. The five o'clock sipping hour was delightful in between a busy day and dinner. Our room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, and surprisingly quiet, even though it faced the street from the second floor. The rooms were attended to each day with the beds made up better than my attempts, and fresh towels and toiletries were provided. The area was safe and conveniently located for a short walk to

What a great location! Lots of places to walk to, plus Muni was easy, and cheap. Staff was wonderful. Jenesis at the front desk was very nice and kind. Cudos to the housekeeping staff. My room was meticulously clean. Valet parking was very efficient. The valet seemed happy to see a manual tranny car!

Positive: This is a beautiful, old hotel. I love the nightly happy hour from 5 to 6 p.m. You can meet fellow travelers and relax before dinner. Negative: If you are a light sleeper, request an "inside" room as the rooms facing the street are noisy, especially on weekends: exuberant nightlife, loud cars, homeless screaming, garbage trucks picking up trash, etc.

It’s hard to find anything to complain about the Galleria Park Hotel - so I won’t! These guys are absolute PROs when it comes to customer experience. The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming, from the valets to front desk to housekeeping- everyone is super nice and hospitable. I got some sightseeing recommendations from the front desk team that did not disappoint! The hospitality aside, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The room was big and the beds were comfy, though note that the bathroom is a bit cozy (but not without added charm) so don’t expect a lot of counter space. The location couldn’t be beat, either. The location was great. It was centrally located to many surrounding tourist interest, e.g. Fisherman's Wharf, Macy's, Union Square, etc. The atmosphere was very welcoming and accommodating. With three of us traveling together, I got to see 3 different rooms, each unique. They were all very nice with two of them being adjoining making it seem like a 2 bedroom apartment. The rooms were definitely worth the value. The cleanliness of the rooms were spot on, as I didn't have any reservations about whether it was safe or not to sleep on the sheets. The only experience I had that wasn't the most optimum was the noise level on the first night. I will attribute this to the days I stayed.
