Four Points by Sheraton Alexandria

I am a review reader so my expectations were low based on the reviews. This hotel is wonderful and I’m not sure why the reviews are so low. Check in process was smooth and my name was on a sign when I walked in as guest of the day. Arthur at the bar was fun and friendly and my little overnight trip was great. Hotel was quiet and clean. I am definitely staying again when in the area.

We stayed here on a roadtrip on the way to New Orleans, it's convenient to the freeway but not to much else.||This is a different concept for a Four Points, it looks more like a Fairfield Inn. That's not a bad thing, just an observation. The guy checking us in was nice enough but didn't recognize our platinum status and we had to ask to get free breakfast certificates.||We had a one bedroom suite and it was quite nice with a full kitchen. I didn't usually like barn door style bathrooms but this one was very nice. The room felt very comfortable and surprising upscale for a Four Points.||They don't have a full service restaurant, you order order breakfast from somebody behind a counter and they bring it out. Five star experience! My experience was absolutely five stars from start to finish. The rooms were exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, exceeding my expectations in every way. What truly set this stay apart was the staff. Every single team member went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help made my stay not just pleasant, but memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service and a spotless, welcoming environment. I would definitely stay here again!

Overall, this was a decent stay, nothing particularly special but comfortable enough. The hotel itself was fine and met expectations. Unfortunately, I was assigned room 130, which is located right next to the elevators and the housekeeping area. Because of this, noise was a constant issue. I could hear doors slamming as early as 6:45 AM, music playing over loudspeakers, and people coming and going to their rooms late into the night around 10–12 AM. If I had been placed in a quieter room, I likely would have given this hotel 5 stars, as the noise was really the only downside. So overall, not a bad stay, but I would strongly recommend avoiding room 130 if you’re sensitive to noise.
