Customer Reviews
The hotel is a grand old hotel nicely updated. Our room was spacious as was the bathroom. We had a comfortable king size bed. The staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the dog Cori, who is a black lab and a hotel ambassador. Such a special touch! The hotel is in a great location on Copley Square- a block from Back Bay Station and the local T ( subway).
We were taken aback when we entered the prestigious Fairmont Copley Plaza. Wow. The ceilings were incredible. The pup, Cori Copley, was too precious. Checked in with Taylor at the front desk and she was terrific. She would greet me by name each time she saw me later on during our stay. We LOVED staying on the 4th floor with a fireplace in our room! WOWZERS!
Positive: It is a lovely old building with great, sunny rooms. Restaurant is very good (packed at dinner), it's very well located, love the room service and the staff is really nice. Favorite place to stay in Boston. Negative: the elevators are very slow and fussy
The main floor of the hotel is beautiful, with many interesting art deco and architectural details. That really is the best part of the actual hotel. The location is also great - situation closely to sightseeing, transportation, restaurants, etc. The room itself left some to be desired. I was surprised how poor of quality the bedding was, given the decor and style of the rest of the hotel. The bed was covered in only flat sheets that fit poorly and were of poor quality fabric that itched and felt irritating. The comforter was almost non existent - very thin and again, covered in a flat sheet. This made actually sleeping and moving around on the bed at all challenging. The bathroom was nicely updated in the room, however, the toilets run and gurgling off and on all day/night. The ho
An old but elegant hotel nestled in the heart of Boston. Rich in history and hospitality but the rooms sure do need upgrading. It’s worn out and needs some love for sure. Best part of the hotel is that it is super dog friendly. Bring Fido! Bar downstairs is warm and inviting serving a small menu but large cocktail list.
