Fairfield Inn Rochester Airport

I got stuck at the airport at two thirty in the morning. i was so thankful that this hotel was available within the airport grounds. 5 stars! However , i found the room to be dirty. Mirrors were streaked and not cleaned properly, even the toilet paper was scraggly. the sheets looked suspect too. The room was comfortable.The bed was comfortable. but the room was freezing and there were no extra blankets. i thought that the offering of a big breakfast without added cost was terrific. twelve hours after eating food from the buffet , I was sick. i did think that at nine o'clock in the morning ( when I arrived at the buffet) ... The buffet was offered at 4 am to 10 am.. that the food looked dry...and old. the sausages were almost inedible and the powdered eggs looked far past their due date.

Arrived late in the evening after a flight. The proximity to the airport was great, but it went downhill from there. I checked in, was there for 10 mins max and left to go to another hotel downtown. The first room I entered stunk of mould and felt damp. There was some sort of stain/sticky residue on the bedside table and hairs on both beds. I asked for another room. The next room was even worse! Toilet paper still in the toilet bowl, and a wet washcloth still in the shower, as well as a muddy footprint and a closet door that wouldn’t close. The mould smell was even stronger in this room. At this point, I felt so uncomfortable and wished I took the bad reviews more seriously. I am seriously doubting the validity of the positive reviews for this hotel. I arrived at the airport late at night, and it was such a relief that this hotel was just a short walk away—no need to travel far after a long flight. The breakfast was also delicious and a great way to start the day. I truly think this is the best hotel to stay at when using the Rochester Airport.

We had a late night last minute flight cancelation and this place was great. A little pricey, but your best option around. Rooms were large and the breakfast was impressive! Huge fresh breakfast was a plus. Highlight of the stay was the kind lady at the front desk, Chardonnay. There was a homeless man who wouldn’t leave the lobby and she handled business professionally. You can sleep good knowing she will keep you safe. Shout out to my girl Chardonnay, give her another promotion!

Our experience at this airport hotel is ALWAYS spectacular, largely due to the staff, especially Chardonnay Jeffries. Her positive attitude, helpful interactions and eagerness to provide service is so appreciated. This hotel is very clean, and the opportunity to have service to the airport is important when traveling early! High points in all areas
