Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Rochester West/Greece

For our purposes, the location was perfect — tucked just off the main street, yet surrounded by plenty of restaurant options. The room was clean with comfortable beds and good amenities. We also appreciated that free Wi-Fi and self-parking were included in the price.||The breakfast spread offered a nice variety, and the staff were consistently kind and welcoming. Overall, a convenient and comfortable stay that suited our needs very well.

I recently stayed here for two nights, I chose this hotel because it was convenient to where I needed to be. The price was great but that should have been a caution, I strictly stay with Marriott hotels because of the loyalty benefits being a Gold Elite member, having stayed more than 25 nights each year for the last 10 years. I do not have much issue with the brand, however this property was not to my usual Marriott Standard. The clerk at check in was non-existent, I had to wait and then call into the back office for someone to just come out and check me in. It made it seem like the hotel was closed.... I went to get a peaceful night rest after moving for a week straight and it was everything but peaceful. There was a problem with the water, it would either cut off mid shower or just go ice cold mid shower. Aslo, there was a hotel birthday party with about 20 kids and they ran up and down the hallways from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor until well after 1am. Then once they settled in they were one room over from me so I heard every conversation, every disagreement, every outburst until I finally fell asleep from being so tired. Misleading EV Charging, Poor Service, and Unresolved Issues The hotel advertised free Tesla Destination Charging, but upon arrival, we discovered only ChargeSmart J1772 chargers—20 kW units priced at $0.69/kWh. For comparison, the Rochester Tesla Supercharger offers 150 kW at just $0.33/kWh. Not only was the charging slower and incompatible without an adapter, but it was also more than double the cost of a much faster alternative. This felt like a clear bait-and-switch tactic with predatory pricing on top. Customer service was equally disappointing. The front desk attendant was consistently rude and dismissive. While her attitude was frustrating, it’s worth noting she appeared to be working continuously—from our 4PM check-in to 9PM that night, and again at 7AM and 11AM the next day. If st
