Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites El Paso

Nice room, friendly staff. Went to breakfast this morning came back and the upper door lock latch would not let me in our room. I thought maybe somebody was in our room, but that was not the case. I went to the front desk and told them I really needed to get in our room and they said nobody comes into work until 9:30 AM. This was at 8:15 AM. My phone, my wallet everything was in the room and I was unable to get to it. The front desk girl Laura called the general manager, Monica McFadden, who wanted to see a video of me not being able to get into the Room. Upon seeing the video, she told her front desk, girl that I probably did not utilize properly and had not turned the latch all the way to the left. I only stayed for one night, but had a good experience overall. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. There are MANY places where one can eat and/or shop within a couple miles radius. Breakfast had several options and I was very satisfied. The only thing that was a bummer is that the TV didn't work very well and I couldn't get the channels to show. It was later in the evening when I found this out and after fiddling with it and trying what they recommended over the phone, I just gave up. I think if I had a longer stay they would have fixed it the next morning. I would stay here again.

The room is big and clean. The fee includes breakfast. Overall is okay not too bed. Good choice for 1 night.

My boys and I had such a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome — everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was spotless, and our room was very clean and comfortable, which made us feel right at home. The boys had a great time at the indoor pool. The breakfast — was absolutely delicious, with plenty of options that my boys and I really enjoyed. The breakfast attendant was the sweetest. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Mad a reservation at 9 am day before I was to arrive, CANCELLED reservation 15 minutes later and they STLL charged me 175.00. Called the hotel and the staff said that they REFUSED to refund my card even with though they provide a cancellation number.
