Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Atlanta Marietta

We stayed at this hotel for one night on January 3rd, as a stopover before driving early to Florida, and the location was perfect for that purpose. It’s strategically located, easy to access, and ideal if you’re continuing your trip south the next morning. For $129, we had a clean and comfortable room for three people. The bathroom was very clean, the room was quiet, and the overall condition met our expectations for a Fairfield Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful during check-in, which we really appreciated after a long drive. I had seen some negative reviews before booking, but based on our experience, I did not encounter any of the issues mentioned. Everything was in order and well maintained during our stay. We arrived late after a busy day in the city, and were checked in by the inestimable Hope, who was a pleasant, friendly face after a long day. When we realized that our room was next to a crying baby at 1am, we asked for a new room, and Hope took care of us immediately. ||Our room was comfortable, and we slept well before our long drive home. We'll look to stay here again when we return to the Atlanta area.

Everything was greatn& Comfy.  Friendly staff!   Only thing missing was a dress mirror for the wife!

I wanted to give this hotel 5 stars, but the service was unacceptable for such a nice establishment. We were checked in a little after 6:30 by a woman named Monique. She came from the back and I could immediately tell she may have been sick by how visibly congested she was. I askeI could look at the room prior to bringing our belongings up. I intentionally asked for a room not from the elevator due to a recent leg injury only to discover when I arrived to the floor that it was all the way at the end of the hall. When I came back to ask if she could change it, she was sitting in the office visible from the front desk with the door open. The lobby looked really nice when we arrived. However, if you are looking for comfortable rooms, don’t stay here. Other than the king size bed, there isn’t anywhere to sit instead of a desk chair. There is plenty of floor space fore a love seat or a comfortable arm chair with a foot stool. I asked the front desk attendant why there wasn’t anything to sit on other than the desk chair and she said the owner didn’t want to spend the money to buy anymore furniture. Also, the bathroom door wouldn’t even close all the way. Why would they even assign a room to a family if there wasn’t anything a privacy issue with the bathroom? I will definitely never stay at this hotel again.
