Extended Stay America Suites- San Jose - Edenvale - North

The elevator didnt work when I stayed. Had use stairs for inconvenient when you have luggage. Get to 2nd floor and walk down hallway. It smells horrible. Already thinking what did I book. Get in the room and its pretty outdated. Walls need painting. Go in the bathroom and bath tub/ shower has a nasty ring in the tub. I went to buy cleaner to try to clean it. Then realized the shower drain is plugged up and that is probably what is causing the ring. The beds have no mattress protector on them. Stains on mattress. I won't ever book that place again. Especially after paying $243. Outrageous for the condition of rooms. Worst part was being woke up around 4am because a woman is screaming. Idk what was going on. Had to listen to that for about an hr. You could hear a few people along with her.

Positive: It was quiet Negative: When I got to the room I started to cough and sneeze about 20 min after I got there.had no clue why until I went into the bathroom and the ceiling was covered in black mold(I took pics).

I came because of the location to my girlfriends family in which we came in from out of town to visit. At first I was told I could do an early check in, so I come a little before the time to see if if they could be helped. The older angry Asian lady said “I hadn’t f###### ate lunch” and proceeded to have me wait. The team lead eventually came out and decided to help after a little bit. My stay was okay after that. There’s a smelly smell but it’s what you expectI wouldn’t have a “shortened” stay 🥁

The front of the building trash can was overflowing with trash. And the elevator was nonfunctioning. We were put in another room because of drain overflow.The wall lamp next to bed didn't work.Otherwise my 9 day stay was as good as to be expected. I will be staying again at Extended stay.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I saw some of the reviews but still decided to give it a chance. (It’s the superbowl, rooms are super expensive/ all booked right now.) I arrived at the inn and waited a solid 20 minutes before anyone could assist me. I was lead up the stairs to the third floor (elevator is broken, had to drag my suitcase up) upon entering, there wasn’t much to complain about. The fridge looked pretty dirty, but everything else in the room seemed okay. I did a bed bug check, and it seemed safe so I kept the room. Not even an hour later, did I find a bed bug crawling around in the bed. I was mortified. I immediately phoned down to reception. The response? “You can drop your keys off here. Not sure if you can get a full refund, you’ll have to go to the other building.” As i
