Extended Stay America Suites- San Jose - Downtown

Where do I begin? Front desk staff was great. Friendly and accommodating. Neighborhood is sketchy. Very sketchy. I'm glad my husband was with me. The first room (138) a king studio... they informed us the bedside light didn't work. I can live with that. But not the cockroach walking across the bathroom counter. We went back to the front desk. They offered a refund or another room. I wanted the refund. My husband wanted to check another room. (104). No visible pests in this one. But definitely had issues of its own. Toilet was a very weak flush so don't do anything serious in it. Shower has very little water pressure and took a good 15 min to warm up. Hair in the tub, weird stains on the bed. No amenities in the room. You have to go to the front desk and request stuff to us

Not too fond of what happened here. I have a 30 day stay and I came back. I to my room and I was no longer had access to it. I had 24 days left last last I recall somewhere around that at least and I found out that some random person just checked me out of my room. And what kind of place are they running here? I can just walk into the counter and check anybody out of the room is that what you're saying my property is still in there. I'm going to come back today to get it at least whatever's left in my property is totally unprofessional in just be aware. This place lets anybody check you out of your room. I’m not sure where all the good reviews came from but I did not experience that much awesomeness. Homeless camps on the backside street. Hotel is gated but entry gate didn’t close so not great security. Employees were nice and helpful so that was a plus. Room was okay but we killed some kind of small bug not long after arrival. Very weird flute music that played on a loop from somewhere.all.night.long|Very weird. It was very low volume but very annoying. |No shampoos. You have to ask at desk. Great airport location though. |Would probably not stay here again.

Positive: nothing was good in this hotel. Negative: the room very dirty no privacy people smoke in the rooms, hallways elevators, hotel and parking very dirty. loud all day and night people fight in the hallways. in other words, the worse hotel that stays in my life, I check out at the next day terrible.

First arrive to the hotel and construction was going on. They were cutting wood right in front of the entranceway sawdust everywhere. I’m in a construction business and will never have my guys cutting right in front of the entranceway. Customer Service was not good did not regulate noise by guest during sleep hours. dirty carpets, walls are dirty. Scuff marks everywhere has a strong smell as soon as you walk into the building. My room had roaches in my kitchen and the bathroom. I had stains on my covers. One of the worst experience I had. I highly recommend not booking a room there.
