Extended Stay America Suites- Rochester - North

My mother in law had to stay in Rochester for 6 weeks while she did her chemo and radiation so we decided to get this hotel as it was cheap and we just needed somewhere to sleep while we were back and forth to appointments. Before arriving we read all of the reviews which scared us a little being two woman out here but when we came here we couldn’t understand why the reviews were mostly all negative. It was the most peaceful hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Very convenient as Walmart and target is down the street, Kwik trip is right across the street and anywhere else you need is probably close by! When we got here we ordered (free) dish packages to be able to cook with and they brought them right up immediately. Positive: Full size fridge and hot plates Negative: Back entry door illegally propped open, 45 minutes of listening to a guy pounding on his car, front desk staff not always there.

This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. One room did not have a working tv. One room wreaked of smoke, even though it is obviously supposed to be "Non-Smoking". The atmosphere is one of a cheap, continuous white trash party. The owners are rude and do not speak English well enough to communicate with accurately.

The only reason im giving 3 stars is because the staff was very friendly and helpful. This Hotel had bugs. There were cockroaches in the cabinets in the kitchenette drawers and we found bugs in the bedding. They only clean the rooms 1x every 7 days which means the linens on the bed are not changed often enough for me. The rooms smell. We were in 2 different rooms and the 1st room smelled like it had been smoked in often. The second room also smelled musty and unclean. The desk lightbulb was burned out and didnt work. The fan in the bathroom was extremely loud. The elevator stops between the 2nd and 3rd floor then continues to the 3rd floor. I would only give this place 1 star if not for the friendly staff. They need to clean rooms more than 1x per week to keep it clean and maybe shampoo th

Should be closed I was accused of having multiple people in there when I asked them to watch the cameras. They didn’t say nothing. I told him not to disrespect me like that, I am out of town and don’t know anyone from the state. I came for a funeral they worried about me. They should’ve been worried about some drug deals that they was going on in that hotel all types of drug addicts. people un around. I usually stay at extended stay other places and they’re great. This one is by far the worst one ever, overall the worst experience and I would never return and this place is just disgusting is dirty. The appliances are horrible. Nothing is kept up. The only best thing about it was the bed and I was scared to stay in there. Never go there again. I can tell you that much and I can’t believe th
