Extended Stay America Suites- Rochester - Greece

Nice place to stay. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. But the constant smell of weed and the constant presence of police says they attract a colorful group. Heard a couple couple screaming one night. Another night 2 people and their pit bulls got into a bloody fight in the hallway. But it's cheap and local to lots of things.

Our flight was delayed so we didnt arrive to the hotel till like midnight. When we pulled up to the hotel there were cops outside of the property reporting to something that had just happened. When we entered our room we were met with a screaming guest and her dog who were already checked in and sleeping in the room. The dog immediately charged at us barking. The front desk lady was very nice and apologetic and expressed that the room showed in the system that it was vacant. She booked us into a different room only to find out that the key card to this room didnt work. She told me that she would tell her manager about the incident and that they would refund me for 1 night. Which im still waiting for. For the rest of my trip anytime we left my room I had to stop at the front desk and ask fo

Don't stay here. ||Walking to the main entrance. Several guests outside the door smoking. Get inside. Waited for what felt like forever for someone to come to the desk so i could check in. As im walking to my room the hallway smelled like mildew and smoke. Get into my room. The condition of the room was run down and ran through. The kitchen was especially in poor condition. The toilet water had black flakes floating in it. The room smelled old, and like smoke like the rest off the building. I should have left but i was so tired from traveling. I told myself just get through the night. I got up from laying in the bed. Big black spider in the spot i was laying in. It must have crawled from under a pillow. The next morning i dropped my keys in the box AT 9AM cause nobody is at the desk as usu

The good side - The location was great and the staff was helpful and friendly. The bad side - The hotel reeked of smoke. I couldn't breath and didn't sleep most of the night due to the stench of smoke. It was just disgusting. I had to wash my clothes several times to get the stench out. I ended up getting up early and leaving to work from Starbucks because I just couldn't take it anymore. I will never stay in this property again. Please do not stay in this property unless you are a chain smoker and don't mind the smell.

This was a great place to stay with my family. The rooms are clean and staff keeps in contact with residents to make sure everything is up to standards. Staff is very easy to access and are all extremely kind and understanding. There is a large parking lot perfect for our family van. This location was great as it is close to many parks as well the mall. There are many places to find food nearby. Although I did not travel on the local transportation I noticed bus stops nearby. Will stay here again if given the chance!
