Extended Stay America Select Suites- Tuscaloosa

Won’t let me put the negative review. Place is run down ! The general manager Melissa is rude! The only reason I even stayed was because of MS Gina! Everyone else is rude! No housekeeping only 1 x every 14 days. If you don’t like it Melissa will tell you to leave! Drug activity and riffraff!!!!!! Dirty floors , People on upper floors loud and disruptive, people slamming there doors and when complained was told the noise ordinance is 10pm! Price was not bad but spend the extra and go somewhere safe

I have loved staying here. We have been here for an extended time, staff has gotten to know us, I’ve gotten to know other residents. I feel like I’m in my own little neighborhood. Melissa and everyone on staff is wonderful, I’ve gotten to know them all by name and they always ask about my work, hubbys work, our kids. They genuinely take and interest and care about the people here. Can’t ask for more.

Positive: Friendly staff. Polite Negative: The entire hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. Elevator, room, halls, etc. Hotel needs a fumigation to get rid of STRONG SMELL. Because of allergies to smoke, I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone who does not tolerate cigarette smoke!

The staff is so friendly the rooms are clean. They work with you when it comes to making a reservation and leaving on check out day to turn around and re check back in a few hours. The room was clean. The only issue I had was the TV had to keep being reset to get the guide to work or to be able to change the channel. And they make you feel like your at home. The front office staff is a whole bunch of sweet ladies.

The Receptionist and workers are so professional, kind, patient and care about the safety of their guess. The rooms are sanitized and everything was in order when I entered the room. It is a very peaceful place to STAY. I ❤️ it here. This is the place you would want to be.
