Where to start? First off, the bed was very uncomfortable. You would have had a better time sleeping on the floor, or in your car. Hotel walls are thin, and you can hear what is happening in other rooms. I suppose you get what you paid for. In this case, if you want cheap, than expect that type of service.

Well, where to start. My girl and myself were needing a place for a couple nights and found the Executive in Rivergate. Its rates were on the low side for Goodlettsville. Check in time is clearly listed as 3pm. We found ourselves nearby at 1pm and had luggage, so I thought why not ask for an early check in so we could stash our things and go explore. I was told no upon asking. Before I could react it was changed to $45. The look on my face must have expressed the irritation I felt as he quickly said $30. The word extortion popped into my mind as I said 'most places wouldn't mind an hour or two early unless you're packed', which they weren't as there was only one vehicle in the parking lot. When it came time to check out after 2 nights, I went to drop off keys card and I said “I’m checking out.” The lady owner screamed at me “NO! GO WAIT IN YOUR ROOM!” Ok…after waiting in my room 10 minutes, I called 911 and told them I felt unsafe and wanted officers to escort me off the property. I apologized to the two officers who arrived, and told them “I just don’t want any trouble with this woman like we had when we checked in.” (She refused to honor our online reservation, and charged us multiples the already-charged booking price, while wasting our time and being rude to us.). The officers said they understood, and when I said “I bet you get called out here a lot,” they told me “all the time,”

This is a poorly kept place. I paid for someone to stay here, the non-smoking room smelt like smoke. Just not well kept. I paid for him to stay four weeks (a different room) which was nicer, but on the third floor (no elevator). I wouldn't stay here myself, but it is convenient to Galatin Road and the bus line.

Very positive experience. The staff made me feel welcome and the room provided a comfortable rest after a day out.
