Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Goodlettsville, TN

We stayed 11 nights at your property. Greeted warmly by staff upon arrival. The daily breakfast each morning helped out budget for our family of 3. The breakfast staff did a super job. The property desperately needs an up update. I found mold in the bathroom poor lighting in the bedroom Our kitchen unit was poorly supplied and outdated. We could not cut our steaks. The sofa bed needs replacing. Upon attempting to sleep on it was impossible. The mattress was miserably old and needed to be tossed. The front desk had no other mattress to replace the old one. However, they offered us 4 or 5 bedspreads to stack in hopes it we would not feel coils. That did not help! The front desk was asked to please clean our room. However, housekeeping did not get the message. This happened 3 times. At m

No issues with the room or location. However I booked a room for my wife and daughter through choice hotels as I am a diamond member and get discounts. The room that was booked was incorrect. (Not the hotels fault but choice hotels fault). Where things became an issue is that neither this hotel nor Choice were willing to change the reservation or cancel the reservation to allow to book different room. So instead we booked 2 rooms. 2 nights stay for both rooms. The next day we leave the hotel, I get a phone call from Donna, the assistant manager at about noon. She is asking if I plan to get my stuff out of the room or are they coming in to remove it. I asked what did she mean, we booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. She argued that we only booked one room for 2 night and 1 room for 1 night. I tried

The hotel rooms had a strong musty smell and when we asked for another room, the front desk worker knew people complained about the room and gave us another room. The other room had beds that were sunken in the middle and the room also had a bad odor. I don't advise staying here! Not a clean environment to stay in.

The rooms and other amenities were suitable and clean but the staff lacked any form of friendliness or customer service skills. We stayed 4 nights and only came across 2 employees that knew what field of work they were in. An older gentleman with long hair and a lovely lady with braids they both worked nights and had amazing customer service skills. Very sweet and sincere. Your day crew is very unapproachable no personality and rude. The manager wouldn’t come out from the back the lady manning the front desk kept having to go to the back to speak to her and ask questions. This went on for a while. Great breakfast, clean facility, and friendly staff, but we had to put up with squeaky floorboards and bumps in the room overhead. Elevator was at hard angle to turn a loaded cart into and the elevator made a banging lurch every time it left first floor. Luggage cart tires needed more air pressure. Parking lot is too small for full size pickups. Location of motel has awkward turns to get to it from I-65.
