Courtyard by Marriott Nashville Goodlettsville

The hotel was fine and clean as in general. There were a few things that impacted my and my coworkers stay. We stood alone almost 10 minutes at the front desk before we saw an employee who could check us in. There was rave/dance music playing at the bar which was odd on a Wednesday night. There were ants in my bed two nights in a row and we had to request housekeeping come make our beds after we returned to our room and saw they never came.

We stayed overnight in one of their King Suites. The furniture was basic and needs updating, it was faded, ripped on the couch cushion, visible dirt in the curtains. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Great for a quick overnight, nothing fancy about this hotel. Mostly clean room, it was just a little boring aesthetically.

Room was clean and spacious. The floors are very thin, so if you’re a light sleeper I’d request a room on the top floor, otherwise you’ll hear those above you walking around. The gym had adequate equipment but the shade in the window where the sun comes in in the morning was broken and the room was quite warm. A fan in the corner would be sufficient. Lobby was enormous, lots of places to sit and work or enjoy coffee. Location was perfect, right off the highway, gas, Starbucks, many places to eat very close by. I would stay again!

Willie (i believe was her name) , the older african american woman working at the front desk made my stay comfortable. I started sanitizing my room and when i got the the door handle on the outside of the room, it fell apart! Imagine had i not sanitized!!! For a woman travelling alone, imagine how scary that was. I went downstairs to have the room changed, Willie took care of me and even walked me to the room and also kept on 4th floor like i asked since i had been travelling and have to up by 2 AM so i needed a too floor room without hearing any footsteps and far from elevator!

When checking in, Mary was working the front desk and she was incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. She’s very sweet and I can tell she cares about the service she provides the patrons of the hotel. I’d go back just for her. Thank you MARY!!
