😊: Nice stuff and location.. 😢: WiFi worked only on the 1th floor and I stayed on the second. Also there was no shower in the bath and I had to take a shower in the other side of the floor..

Very much a one-star hotel but otherwise totally fine. Bathrooms and showers are shared (but single use / private), and rooms basically only have a bed, TV, and minifridge. Location is great. I did not see any pests and there was a notice saying they have pest control every month, so although past reviews worried me that problem seems under control

😊: I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and the location was excellent. The facilities are a little rough around the edges but at this price at this location, it's well worth it..

The best thing going with this place is that they have some of the lowest nightly rates ($55 a night) in San Francisco (other than hostels). The hotel is very nicely located also, in between Chinatown and Fisherman’s wharf and is located right on Columbus Avenue, right on the bus routes and the Bay and Taylor cable car route. || ||Hard to really call this place a true “hotel” since they also allow weekly and monthly stays. ||||The hotel is easy to find, it is located right next to the comedy club. When you first arrive at the hotel you have to press a buzzer to get into the place. From there you have to walk up 2 steep stairways to get to the main floor with the front desk. Very friendly staff, cheap place to sleep for a few nights - though as noted by others, it's closer to a hostel, the room only has a single bed, no toilet or shower, the sheets are okay, but look used, etc.
