Econo Lodge Rochester I-90 & I-390

I have been staying here temporarily after a difficult time of trying to find a place to live waiting on a long list for Sr. Apts.! The employees are so friendly and accommodating! They are very pleasant and helpful! I would recommend it to anyone whose looking for a good place to stay with great prices if your on a budget! Rooms are very clean and homey atmosphere!

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times and this last visit I’m disappointed. Our bathroom had not been cleaned the shower was very dirty and we had to clean it out ourselves. One of the beds has stains on the sheets and covers, I took pictures of it and tried to show the lady at the front desk but when we went down she wasn’t there. I don’t know if she was on break during that time or what happened. Usually this is one of our favorite affordable places to stay and get away for a night but unfortunately having to clean the room took some of that excitement and relaxation out of our experience

Okay 🤦🏼‍♀️a little back story! let me start by saying I just gave birth 5 days ago and my baby has been in the NICU since the very first night. We got transferred to strong memorial today and I have no doubt the medical attention he will receive there is top tier but it's not family friendly. There are only a few regular chairs that don't recline and they told us they are so packed with babies and families they don't know when they will be able to bring us a recliner or sofa bed and definitely don't know when we can get into the Ronald McDonald House. My husband being the sweet man that he is thought I could use a real shower and a full night's sleep in a real bed so since we're out of work and stuck here over an hour away from home he looked for the cheapest hotel that was closest to the

Positive: not much. The phone did not work, internet is not secured, and a bed bug found crawling in bathroom ( no time to look in mattress or sheets). So this was a big issue. Negative: No refuItnd nor discount after reporting.The bug was definitely a bed bug, a hard shell, round about 1 quarter inch. It was not a fly!

Staff were friendly, the room was clean and quiet. It took 3 rooms before we settled: first room was not what we reserved (app was different from what the front desk had); 2nd room the toilet didn’t work; third room was where we stayed. However… the rooms are dated and very basic. Towels and amenities very limited. In the morning, there were 2 sets of broken glass in the parking lot and the back door window was punched in. We wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who wasn’t as self-sufficient as we are. Folks were very friendly
