ECHO Suites Extended Stay by Wyndham Richmond West

A new and economical hotel that offers a comfortable stay, and basic amenities under “normal circumstances”. The sound proofing of the room is not great, however. I heard loud movements and talking both beside me and above me. I was told I was given a “good deal” as an extended rate, however, I did observe nightly prices on the website for the same. The hotel, being open for 10 months I was informed, in my opinion was not fully equipped. There was no option for purchase of kitchen equipment as it was on order, and there were no “hand towels” available. I will highly commend Carl, the GM for his kindness…he brushed the snow off my car the day I was leaving. A very nice gesture and act of kindness! Thank You. The other issue I have is that I cannot accumulate points at this brand.

Booked at hotel after our adult daughter was discharged from hospital. At hotel - no washcloths, hand towels or even a box of tissues. Only 2 large towels for 3 adults. Asked associate at front desk- she said towels were on backorder, but offered me a roll of toilet paper. When we inquired about amenities such as cups, plastic ware…she informed us that they only sell “packages” for these items. This may be advertised as a “hotel” but appears to be more of an apartment complex. No basic amenities provided for a “hotel”|We visit Richmond frequently and will never use this property again.

Room was clean, staff was friendly.Unfortunately a few little glitches with facility. The TV remote didn't have batteries, and we were grateful they brought them right away.However, the TV ended up not working, as they couldn't get signal. Even with staffer checking the system, we were unable to get any service.And, although they offer free coffee in the AM...they had no cups. We were told the cups were on order, and if we had our own cup, we could get coffee.

I have been staying here since August 1st. From the very first day, Ty has been incredibly helpful, assisting me and helping with all our bags despite the elevator being out of order. Every time I see her, she is a breath of fresh air, consistently asking how she can help improve our stay. Ty is an outstanding young lady and a valuable asset to Echo Suite.

The people are nice and the location is good. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you need anything other than bare bones. The hotel is newer, so its nice, but there's nothing there. Just a bed and tv. There's a kitchenette with no pots ir
