DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Richmond - Midlothian

My family had a nice stay at this Doubletree property. Margaret, at the front desk, greeted us with a warm welcome, prompting us with a warm welcome and explaining our HH Diamond perks including free parking. She was such a delight to see each time we went downstairs and I know she will go far with the Hilton brand. The kiddos loved the upgraded king room with the whirlpool tub. Also it was clean and very well refreshed each day. ||There is an indoor pool but when we were there it was VERY cold which was a bummer. I also had to skim the top of the water for some debris. I did like that they had larger pool towels. ||They do have a bar in the lobby and about an hour-long happy hour on house beer and wine. We went downstairs for that and are super easy but noticed the beer was a little warm

Room was nice and clean. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff was extremely attentive (so much attention I wasn't sure which one was really our server)! Jeanette was helpful with our selections and provided great service. The breakfast was fresh and cooked perfectly. Like home.|From our check in throughout our stay overall great experience here!

Overall, our stay was good. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Quality of our room was below par. Water damage within the walls was painted over. Paid parking for a subpar parking lot was not worth the $10 a day. The amenities was great though! Love the front desk staff! They were very enjoyable!

I would definitely recommend this hotel and staff was great. Visited the bar and the vibe was vibing. Had a great time. |Jeanette was our server during breakfast. She was amazing. Oh and the warm complimentary chocolate chip, walnut cookies were a pleasant bonus! 😋

We stayed in a double queen room. The beds are on the smaller side. Looks more like a full than a queen. The room was clean and comfortable. The best part of our stay was the service. The front desk manager was so friendly. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant later that night. Natasha at the bar was delightful. We were the only ones there that night, she kept us company and talked with us until we left.
