DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Atlanta - Alpharetta

You don’t always know the experience you will have when you book and check in. Regrettably there was some technical issues where by for 3 days my digital and physical keys made and remade would not work. While that is frustrating for a customer, we have to be mindful it’s not the employees fault nor malicious intent. Each of these staff members over the course of the 3 days handled it with grace, care, concern and apologies. Shanique who checked me in tried so many ways that first night to get me sorted. Fran the next night was already prepared with the background on my room access. She made another key, escorted me to my room in case where she witnessed both digital and room key not working and let me in with the master. The 3rd morning I wanted to workout. The front desk staff is very rude. Forgot his name, will add it later. Definitely not the way to treat your honors guests. He tried to charge me for my room even though I had paid days before my reservation. This is not what a Hilton establishment should be. Do better with your staffing please! Update: The aforementioned staff member wanted to make sure I knew he saw my Google review so he just informed me of his name, but I’ll keep the rest between us and management. We had to move rooms because the door to our first room did not lock and we were unable to leave it with our things in it. Thankfully the front desk, who were much nicer this time, got us in to a different room. The second room has a malfunctioning bathroom door that is difficult to close. Still very disappointed with this H

Place could use a little refresh and update. Room furniture a bit worn. Place was clean- staff very friendly. Could use some clean up on the grounds as well. Lobby very nice. Would likely opt for other newer Hilton properties in the area next time- this was affordable, available, clean and safe. Very convenient to local food.

Positive: Nice hotel, centrally located near lots of food establishments. the front desk was the best interaction I ever had a hotel!! She was very upbeat and friendly and recognized and acknowledged me every time we entered/returned. Negative: I personally did not like the set up of the bathroom. it was entirely too small and I am so turned off by the sink within the room set up. Housekeeping came in while we were out and "made" the bed, and did not change the sheets and only left 1 towel.

Love the location, but the rooms are a little dated. The power plugs are loose. But the staff was very helpful and friendly
