Deluxe Motel

Fantastic service, great people all around. I have 4 kids and we stayed for two months. Nonstop great service. Besides random homeless ppl every now and then I loved it. Highly recommend 😀

The room was beautiful. You could tell that it was recently redone, and they did a beautiful. It was very clean and neat. The staff was very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in the area. Don't judge a book by it's cover, because the outside isn't the best, but the inside makes up for it.

We spent 5 nights at the Deluxe Hotel on our trip to Richmond and the hotel was very good. The hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms are very comfortable. The addition of a small table would be welcome. I asked Matthew, the owner for a table, and he was able to locate one for me very quickly. Great service!! Rooms were expertly cleaned each day. The area might not be the most attractive however, for ease of getting around and sightseeing, it is very good. Can be noisy with the train nearby and the road noise but you tend not to hear it after a while.

The Deluxe Motel looks better on the Internet than it does in person. The word "deluxe" to describe it is hyperbole at best. However the motel rooms inside are actually pretty nice compared to the drab run down appearance of the motel itsself. Rooms came with a microwave and fridge. This particular part of Richmond is pretty run down and not a place you want to walk around. The street is filled with little off brand motels like this. This motel doesn't even have a lobby but a doorbell you ring at a window to check in and out. Many businesses nearby have bars on their windows which is usually not a good sign you are in a quality part of town. However staff was pleasant and friendly. Three lightbulbs were out in my room upon check in and the lady in the office was apologetic and quickly rect

Rooms was clean and comfortable!! No bugs only complaint is I wish they gave out more towels for a double bed…the outside looks shady but to my surprise the rooms are actually clean!!! Would recommend
