Days Inn by Wyndham Thornton

The whole staff from the cleaning crew and the front desk staff are very nice. They are all very helpful and they actually seem like they like their jobs, they always smile and are so polite. I've been to quite a few hotels due to looking for an apartment I can afford and Days Inn is the only hotel where it's a pleasant atmosphere.

Positive: Nice and clean, everything was in good condition. The bed was comfortable. The shower was warm and powerful. The towels were thick and absorbent. It was in a quiet location. Negative: The coffee at the breakfast nook was low quality. Good coffee is not expensive. Pealing the hard boiled eggs was like chipping concrete. They should watch a YouTube video on how to properly boil eggs so that they peal easily.

I do not recommend. Booked 7 days for a family emergency at St Anthonys North Hospital. It was close and affordable for last minute booking- plus first time to the area. 1st room- security latch was broken so we moved rooms. 2nd room the security latch was also broken, room was not cleaned properly and there was NO HOT WATER! It was late and we needed to be back at the hospital in the morning. Well NO HOT WATER in the morning. So we told the front desk and they said Maintenance is working on it. We needed to head to hospital came back late at night again and STILL NO HOT WATER! We needed new accommodations cause we needed a place that had what everyone needs HOT WATER in Winter. When asked if there was a pool the answer was “yes”, they failed to mention it was closed. A “king room” was just a tiny room with a queen bed. There wasn’t even enough room for a side table on both sides of the bed. No extra outlets. Not even a hair dryer. No closet. No dresser.

I am absolutely LIVID about this experience at your hotel. A few days ago, we stayed one night before moving into our new place, and I accidentally left my baby’s pack-and-play mattress in the room. I KNOW it was there—I’m 100% certain. I called the front desk to ask if someone could check for it and hold it so I could come pick it up. The girl who answered was unbelievably RUDE from the start—condescending, dismissive, and acting like I was bothering her. I had to repeat myself FOUR TIMES just to explain what I was looking for, and by the fifth time, when I was understandably getting frustrated, she snapped back with an attitude and said she’d “check” and only call me if they found it—but she wouldn’t bother calling if they didn’t.
