Days Inn by Wyndham Scranton PA

I like this hotel, and my stay was good. Hotel staff and manager are very nice and helpful, and my room was clean, and common area was clean. I read some reviews before my stay, and some people are surprisingly angry... I stayed on the 4th floor, and it was quiet, I do not have any complaints and will return next month, I already have a reservation.

It is conveniently located. The manager Arnaldo is top notch. He was extremely professional and helpful. I hope they value this guy and keep him around. The 2nd floor had a cat-like odor. And although the rooms have signs that say "non-smoking room", it too had an odor of smoke and not fresh-clean smell.

My room had roaches crawling on the walls and in bed when you laying down, most likely coming from the corner and crests of the carpet, Also this hotel has a very good amount of people seeking housing while staying here until they are able to get an apartment so idk if it’s a shelter and operating business at the same time which is ridiculous there’s kids sitting in the hallway on the floors eating and watching videos. A great amount of noise and commotion taking place in the hallway on the 3rd floor, workers can very much see everything on the security monitor but not saying anything about it is ridiculous! Bathrooms toilet……very disgusting

Clean room, nice big size warm pool, hot tub was out of order but pool was nice and warm so that didn’t bother us. Nice size parking lot front and back. Staff is extremely helpful. They go above and beyond, they told me to reach out to them if there is anything that we need. Lobby smells good and the breakfast is ok.

😊: The rooms were spacious, and the beds were good. The corridors and lobby are always clean. The staff have good customer service and are friendly.. 😢: I did not like the fact that from the day I checked into the hotel, the towels were not changed. Poor room service. Also, I reported roaches in the rooms attacking my food, costing me to spend beyond my reach, and no one came...I was advised that I should call the manager. I need to be compensated for this miserable stay.....Much more can be done, but I think the manager does not care as many persons reported roaches and rats in their rooms..
