Days Inn by Wyndham San Jose

The property is in need of many repairs and upgrades. The room had holes in the wall, the toilet seat was barely attached, the bed was uncomfortable noisy, the carpet was badly damaged, and in need of replacing, both chairs in the room were disgusting and unsuitable, the paint was peeling and dirty, the bathtub had mold in it and the lighting was in suitable. All of this was the second room I was moved to so that will give you a good idea of what the first room was looking like… The only good thing about the hotel was the front desk attendant. He was pleasant. For this place to have a Wyndham tag on it was very disappointing. I will see what Wyndham’s response to this rating will be, and I will be giving an update on my google places to travel.

As others have said, don’t do it. I booked a nicer hotel for my week out this way, but Expedia screwed that up, never sent them my info, and booked me here at the last minute. The employees were nice, but the rooms are extremely run down, the area is pretty unsafe and the WiFi and majority of TV channels do not work.

All this for $200 a night. Rooms were filthy and ran down with really old furniture, curtains were really old, disgustingly filthy and tears in them. Shower curtain had a foot of mildew across it, bedding was filthy, we had to throw it on the floor, walls filthy and had some dried boogers on the wall, also had a huge plaster patch on wall that was never sanded down or repainted, just a huge white patch in the sleeping area, the desk in our room was broken and the leg was broken away from it, many more disgusting thing I can talk about, but I’m posting pics below so you can see for yourself. I can imagine an old drug house looking like this. We asked for a different room and the first one was just as bad. SEE PICS I ATTACHED!

I booked on line as the photos on the website described it as clean and prestine, but upon entering the room it was so rundown, multiple stains on the bedspread, hair on it, tv didn't work. So grossed out and tired I walked right out and requested a refund. Where is the oversight of the quality of these false presentation of clean hotels? I had to call the third party booking for a refund the reception clerk looked at the room and said I will give you a refund but you have to call the booking agency. I did took about 40 min or so and then fill out a on line request for refund. Do not stay at this hotel unless you want a gross experience.
