Days Inn by Wyndham Natchez

The hotel is a few miles from downtown, it is clean and affordable. They actually serve a complimentary dinner and a breakfast. Tonights dinner was Salisbury steak, cornbread, mashed potatoes, and unbelievably good collard greens. The front desk staff person was very kind and efficient. I'm traveling with my golden retriever It was $20 extra for a pet. I was able to tell them ahead of time that I was traveling with my dog and they had this on my reservation when I arrived. There is a lot of construction people staying at this hotel as far as I can see. I saw the picture of the cute little rooms with the white rocking chairs outside and thought I would be in one of those so that I could sit outside and enjoy the night air. Positive: Free Breakfast and supper, king size bed, good price, fridge and microwave in the room, the room itself was roomy.. Negative: There was no chair or place to sit in the room except the bed. Room temperature was hard to regulate, bathtub and toilet room was a tight squeeze.

I'm going to start out with the best part; a FREE full dinner buffet every night and a full hot breakfast, with real salt and pepper shakers, plus several types of hot sauce at every table. A noon check out is standard. Some of the rooms come with porch rocking chairs. I stay in hotels almost 300 days a year and this is the best hotel I've ever been to. The staff is amazing, the room is large, quiet and clean. Their sign about "Southern Hospitality" definitely rings true.||No hotels offer free dinners and most Days Inn don't even serve hot breakfasts, any more. Most hotels you have to check out by 11 am.||This hotel is definitely top shelf.

Im here for work. Ill be staying again soon. The boss is paying for it otherwise I wouldnt go anywhere near this place. First room had blood and other bodily fluids on almost every wall and the bathroom and countertops were not remotely clean, but only stayed in that room a couple nights. Next stay was a lot cleaner except the show her and toilet seat and countertops were still dirty just not as bad. No mysterious streaks and gloss on the walls at least. Unfortunately the last room I stayed in did have a major bug problem. Bedbugs and roaches. Hopefully the next stay is better, otherwise im gonna have to tell my boss he's gonna have lose money on the reservation Unfortunately. Btw no refunds for reservations and no discussion about it either. Book at your own risk.

There was a small mix-up on the room, but Lorraine handled it efficiently and professionally taking great care of us. We found out this location offered a complimentary evening meal in addition to the hot breakfast which was a great surprise. The room was clean and well appointed. Overall great experience at this property. I wish we had more like this!
