Days Inn by Wyndham Maumee/Toledo

When I arrived. Police were on site, helping someone who was ass assaulted or something in the staff acted like it was no big deal. Common actually. my room smelled like cigar had no hot water. Nobody seemed to care, the drape from like the 1970s had a big bullet hole in it that when the moonlight shown through went to the middle of the bed. I tried to look around for plaster where the other end of it went. I heard noises throughout the night very sketchy people they need full-time security there. The door. Looks like the lock was replaced several times from being forced open

I was in a great mood until hubby and I had to wait for the employee to come out of the bathroom. He should have checked his attitude while in there because he was a rude man. The room was ice cold. The pillows on the bed were like they were filled with cotton balls. Very weak, no support. The bathroom was not fully cleaned. There was hair on the floor and in the tub. I was disgusted using a towel because hairs were caught in the fabric of the towel. I hate that I actually used reward points on booking this place. We will never book here again. 🙃

Positive: The front desk staff Negative: The hotel was not clean. We rented for two nights but left after one. There was dried food in the refrigerator, hair on the bathroom floor, and the walls in the bathroom had some kind of dried splatter.

False advertising of free breakfest. Booked in September and found out when checking in they got rid of breakfast few weeks ago. Still shows on website and sign coming into parking lot. Bed were comfy and room was clean beside dirty floors and hair dryer broken in room 228. Cheap hotel to stay out for a few nights.

This was a last minute stay. My car broke down and had to take it to an auto repair shop nearby. Being from Michigan, I had to stay in Toledo a couple of days while waiting for my car to get repaired. One of the staff member at the auto shop recommended this place as an option to stay until the repairs gets done. So fine whatever, I booked a room for a two night stay for 12/10 and 12/11. My first impression was the room was tidy and clean. The water in the tub dripped all night but it wasn't a big deal, I just closed the door. Anyway, the first night was good. The staff at the front desk was really nice and pleasant when I had to go up there for ice water and such. I had a peaceful sleep and enjoyed my first night there. BOOM!!
