Days Inn by Wyndham Manassas Battlefield

We had an okay-ish stay here, as a pit-stop for the night before heading out from IAD. Proximity to IAD, ample included parking, reasonably clean accommodations are some of the favourable points for this hotel. I felt the room we stayed was a bit barebones - could use some more lights (only 1 lamp in the room), and some more electrical sockets for device charging. The reception could be a bit more hospitable. Also, there was an attempt to solicit money in the parking lot by someone wanting to 'hire a cab'. That made us feel a bit unsafe.

Positive: Leaving Negative: The room smelled like mold and had various spots of it around the room. Stained chairs, just overall dirty and not cared for.

I had to give it one star due to the fact that the front desk person put me right in the middle of where families live. Crying babies, kids playing with nerf guns running down the hallway. People hanging out… it was terrible. The room had 1 lamp. It was very dark and I could barely see to eat my food even with the bathroom light on. The front desk guy was nice but he knew where he was putting me. There is food within walking distance, but I don’t advise walking at night. The area seems shady. If you want rest and quiet, look elsewhere. The people living here have no respect and I’m pretty sure management doesn’t care.

Clean room, but the bed was so old it was like sleeping in it, not on it! ||Overall the property has seen better days. However, if one just needs a place to sleep in a clean room at this price point it is a value. You get what you paid for. If one does not need room service, etc.

Horrible. Mold, mildew smell, unhelpful front desk. Many cars with broken windows in the parking lot. Kids running around wearing only diapers/underwear. Guys just sitting and drinking watching you. Tons of cameras but doesn't give you peace of mind. The paint in the room is peeling. Curtains are falling and I didn't have the courage to check out the bathroom or bed which had stains on it (Maybe from a roof leak?)
