Days Inn by Wyndham Dallas Plano

Wow — if catfishing was a hotel, this would be it. The photos on TripAdvisor and other sites show a nice, modern brick Days Inn — with a nice pool and nice rooms. What we got was a pseudo sketchy, somewhat run down hotel with a lobby that stuck of cleaning supplies (at least they cleaned?). The exterior was painted blue and white - not brick - and there was no pool. The fitness center was also the size of a closet. ||The room was relatively clean — but don’t look too closely in the corners or you’ll find dead bugs, hair and who-knows-what scum. The breakfast was fine, but presented pretty haphazardly. My key stopped working on the last morning, and the front desk attendant joked that it’ll be “$10”. The rooms are clean but dated. It was little things that let it down like mold on the bottom of the curtains. The staff over all were nice but on our arrival the room tag was almost thrown at us and we had to ask where the room was and then where the elevator was.

Positive: Very clean, recently remodeled hotel, fresh paint and all. The room was immaculately clean. Very helpful staff. Negative: The little fridge in the room was not plugged in, but I didn’t need to use it.

Excellent stay! Very welcoming staff. The lady working the front desk was so friendly and helpful! Loved the room we stayed in, great amenities and comfortable bed.

The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, providing a truly exceptional five-star service. The room was exceptionally clean and had a pleasant, fresh scent. The sheets were soft and crisp, and everything in the room was in good working order. Also one more thing to know, the remodel looks fabulous and the floors are amazing
