Cypress Inn Motel By OYO West Monroe I-20

Absolutely nasty!!!!!!!! I was in the room for less than 20 minutes and felt extremely unsafe. Chucks of the roof were falling off onto the microwave and fridge. The blinds to the window were barely on the walled and heavily stained. I moved a chair and my hand stuck to it. I went to wash my hands and there was still piss on the toilet seat. I tried to cancel and all the attendant would say was "why? What's wrong with it". They also refused to give me a refund.

Never given a chance. We booked for a long weekend through booking.com, for 2 rooms. I sent a request about the rooms being next to each other if possible. Tell me why I received another message stating that a refund wasn't possible and that the reservation was canceled. I responded with confusion, stated that we never requested to cancel, and that booking.com still showed confirmed. They basically responded with sorry. I called and got through to Oyo help desk (which was not helpful) who had to call the front desk for more info. She relayed that they told her "it was canceled because price was too low." I AM BLOWN AWAY. Not only is it a price set by the hotel, then to cancel it and NOT send an email, call/text. I feel like the only reason I got the message was because I sent a request in

DO NOT BOOK HERE. I booked a room here for my fiance through booking.com. He walked in and said the room was disgusting. There was stuff falling from the ceiling onto the microwave, there were stains on the curtains and it was just not clean overall. When he went to the front desk to let the lady know and ask for a new room all she said was "it was just cleaned". I cancelled the reservation on booking.com and have tried for a refund, but communication with OYO and the front desk at the hotel is terrible. When I finally got ahold of the lady at the front desk, she hung up on me TWICE while I was in the middle of talking.

After I already had a paid reservation they said they did not have a room available. Then when I went online to the agency that the room was booked through they tried to say they have a room available. They did not want to refund money. I still have not been refunded my money. They are scam artist!!
