Crown New Haven Hotel At Yale

This is not a Hotel. This is more like a dorm room or a cheap air BNB except it's expensive.... The beds are so low to the floor and there is no box spring. We had to take the mattress off and connect the slats or we would have fallen to the floor. The comforter was warm, the pillows were awful. The mattress was okay. The furniture was the quality of a dorm room. The temperature control was locked and set at 70° quite low for a freezing December stay. The towels were cheap, small mismatched and there were no washcloths. Advertise it correctly and price it accordingly. This accommodation may be alright for young college students but not for grown mature adults. The TV volume wasn't working I called for assistance and no one ever called me back. This place is a scam. It’s an apartment building with no one working there. I prepaid for the room on booking.com and no one answered the phone or chat messages in order to let you into the room. We never spoke to the host or entered the room. Scam.

THIS HOTEL IS A SCAM!!!!! We got to the location, there is no front desk and no check in. We called them but nobody answered, and when we confronted them about why it’s a scam, they hung up on us. We never got to check in or enter the room, we had to book another actual hotel.

This alleged hotel has 2 addresses (126 and 152 Crown) and is equivalent to dormitories. There was ONE used towel; the bed was inches from the floor and no staff onsite. Furthermore, it was soooo cold in the room with no access to heat. What a terrible experience. I repeat, it is NOT a hotel.

i called once to ask a question, they helped. however kept calling me back several times even at midnight. weird and shady
