Wow! Did not expect this for a 2-star hotel. It’s actually so nice. The service was prompt and the rooms were so clean. We even had a view of the golden gate bridge from room 311. The bathroom was also sparkling clean. I also have to mention the gated parking garage is right next to the hotel. This was by far one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. Only service that could improve is the wayfinding around the hotel as my friend noted. The lobby is situated in the corner of the entrance and I didn’t know there was a guest parking garage outside of the main one next to the lobby.

I had a super clean and spacious room, and the staff were really friendly. All the facilities, including the elevator, worked smoothly. The area felt safe, and I could walk to Super Duper Burger and Walgreens in 5-10 minutes. There were also plenty of good restaurants nearby.Public transportation made it easy to visit the Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito, Pier 39, and the Ghirardelli Chocolate Experience. I felt much safer here than in the Union Square area. I didn’t rent a car, but the parking lot looked big and convenient.Considering how expensive San Francisco hotels are, the price was pretty reasonable. I’d definitely stay here again.

Fantastic room as we booked for 2 people and room had 2 double beds in it. The hotel provides decent toiletries and our room had had a makeover. This is a lively part of Lombard St so expect noise . Quirky place as reception is in the car park , press L in lift to get to it from your room . Check what wing you are in as you can’t get across -you need that specific lift . There are several car parks . For the one underneath you will need your key card which is annoying so get a car passenger to sort this out or you will be trapped on a steep decline behind an locked gate unable to move without a key .|Great for walking . Stroll to Fisherman’s Wharf then head along the coastal path to Golden Gate bridge where there is a cafe at the entrance and visitor centre . |Across the road is Mel’s Dine

My Experience at Cow Hollow Inn… honestly I had a nice stay overall. Rooms are awesome, bathrooms clean and tidy, and location is super central. No breakfast, but many spots right opposite so that’s convenient. But heads up – no early check‑in. Make sure you confirm your timings, otherwise you’ll be stuck waiting. I had to kill time walking the SF Bay which was very pleasant with small harbor views, even spotted seals. Plus, Philz Coffee truck nearby is walkable so I had coffee for my company untill the room was ready. Best location to venture into the bay area..almost accessible to all attractions easily, thanks to the public transport services. Traveler Tips 🧳 - Don’t expect early check‑in, plan accordingly. - If you arrive before time, head to the SF Bay Trail – great walk, harbor views

Not able to check in early to my room. Staff was somewhat courteous,I was able to leave my suitcase their until my room was ready. I booked a king room it was spacious and clean. My room faced Lombard street. My first night was a sleep deprived night. Lombard St is extremely noisy all night long. I spoke to the staff the next day and asked about the noise and they advised I could book a room on Steiner for 25 extra per night. I asked to speak to the manager , not on site they didn't have a room immediately available I asked if they would call me back when a room became available could not, too many guests to worry about, I left that morning and she did call. Which was great! I was able to check into my new room it wasn't much quieter,I did have ear plugs and a sound machine app on
