Courtyard by Marriott Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach

Our experience was not great. We had no room service ...coming back to an unmade bed, full trash cans and dirty towels after being gone all day. Our sheets had rips in them, and they had some small stains, There was a small stain on the carpet near the sink that appeared to be blood. The bed had a deep body shaped cavern in it that you couldn't help but roll into ..and then struggle to roll out of. The shower curtain wouldn't stay snapped and just hung disconnected. There were mold spots inside the bathtub...just to name a few hi lights. If we hadn't prepaid for our stay, we would have left. Very disappointed in our experience, and I would NOT recommend this location to anyone.

Our room was really small but tidy. Fri- Monday stay. Good decor. Smelled nice. Emani who was our cleaning lady on Saturday. She went above and beyond. Our room was cleaner and actually stocked after her. It was completely noticable when we walked in the room. Great job Emani!

Location was good. Hotel is old & you can see it in the stained furniture and moldy bathroom. Overall felt dirty staying there. Upon arrival, desk clerk wasn’t very welcoming. Seems like I inconvenienced her by asking to check in around 2:30. Get to room & there’s half a roll of TP. Housekeeping cart in hallway and when I found housekeeper she was out the side door smoking on her cell phone. There were no shelves in the mini fridge.||“New guy” working knew nothing. I can’t imagine the Marriott not providing proper training or oversight for a new employee. The morning of the second day as I was leaving, I stopped at the front desk to ask about a possible message because the phone in the room was blinking. He offered to send maintenance to my room. I didn’t need maintenance. I neede

Positive: Friendly, welcoming staff Negative: We weren't actually told that we had to ask for clean linens, towels and picking up trash cans from room. However when I asked the front desk for housekeeping and one occasion for clean towels, she immediately supplied them for us

Fantastic property with wonderful people who work there. Josh, Marrisa, Artis, Lionel, Mykayla, Chad, Andrew and the housekeeping staff are tremendous. They make you feel right at home. Nice, clean rooms are so comfy.
