Courtyard by Marriott Rochester Brighton

I had a decent stay at this hotel—the staff were very friendly and the grounds were clean enough. The property is very dated (and dark), but it is being remodeled. My biggest warning is that the soundproofing in the rooms is awful. You can hear literally everything from the surrounding rooms and hallways. For that reason alone, it is hard for me to recommend this hotel.

Where do I start?! From the moment I checked in with Nicole, my experience here has been more than exceptional! After changing in to comfortable clothes after 5 hours of travel, I had the pleasure of meeting Jason at the bar/restaurant for a cold drink and amazing meal. Night two was just as good, as Jason and I watched football together and Mary made yet another amazing meal. (The quesadilla is amazing) By night three I felt like I was hanging out with friends at my local watering hole! When i came down to get silverware to eat my late night snack, i had the pleasure of meeting Nelle, who again so graciously assisted me and shared a much needed spiritual blessing! The way these folks approach the guest experience is literally the best I've ever experienced in my travels. All the best to

Checked into room 107, looked behind the drapes, found a rotted moldy wall. Right above the heating cooling unit/cooling unit. |Blowing mold spores all over the room. I’m not a complainer. |This is going to get someone sick!!!|Any advice on how to report it to a state inspector, would be appreciated. People should not be exposed to this!!!!

I am a 21 year old traveler and quite acclimated to the hotel life. The amount of satisfaction I had walking into this room was irregular. I’ve stayed at 5 star hotels and when i walk in of course i get what i receive but for this to be 3 stars is definitely undershot to the environment. The one King bedroom was clean and very spacious! Even my boyfriend went “hmm this is actually really nice”. The hotel staff were friendly and catered to any needs/concerns. I requested a room on a higher floor and it was no issue. The only thing i would change is the price of breakfast, but it was really good food so worth the money for sure! It’s also near some great attractions and food places making my uber trips inexpensive and quick! Overall a 9/10 stay and definitely a 4/5 star hotel :)

The hotel is well-situated and not horribly priced. But the pool area had ants and a cockroach. And our kid found a pill under the bed that she almost ate.
