The campsite itself is non-existent. The US Forest Service website doesn't even list it as a campground anymore. It is completely overgrown after the latest fire. There's no real sign of the campsite at all. There's a short trail to the ridge and a single make-shift space that might be used for camping. But I wouldn't call it an "approved" space.
Celebrated Yom Teruah (feast of trumpets) on 9/18/2020. Great spot to sound the shofar while enjoying some wine overlooking the Antelope valley.
A small site with room for several tents with a spectacular view of the area. The dirt road down to the campsite is clear of overgrown brush as of May 2021.
Great place to camp for the night. A bit windy but full cell service (tmobile) makes it even better.
This campground is great, back to basics.
