Courtyard by Marriott El Paso Airport

Desi at the front desk made the trip something to remember. This quick overnight in El Paso on the way back east to Florida turned into one of my better experiences because of her. When asked for a great dinner recommendation she gave me a perfect one. I took her suggestion. Then she was enthusiastic wanting to know about experience. She certainly made the stay exceptional.

The hotel was very clean and had a cozy lobby, which made a great first impression. The staff kindly allowed us to use the meeting room, so we were able to hold meetings comfortably. Housekeeping did an excellent job!! My room was always spotless, which was very impressive. I would definitely stay here again!

Positive: The staff was welcoming, patient and attentive to our needs. Negative: Not able to have a restaurant or food services available or delivery. We arrived late and were hungry, did not know the area and were not able to order something to eat. The rooms did not have some of the amenities shown in your advertisement.

As with some previous reviews, I was disappointed since this is a Marriott Courtyard. I will say the staff is wonderful! The restaurant staff is great and the food was delicious! The front desk staff were also very courteous and helpful. However, the fitness center did not have any towels one morning I worked out and no wipes to clean the equipment (I work out at 5am). Since I had a 2-night stay, housekeeping does not clean the rooms, which I understand. But, I asked the front desk clerk at 6am if they had any extra caffeinated coffee for the room and after searching, they were out. The desk clerk ws kind enough to make me coffee at the restaurant which had not opened yet. The GM emailed me upon my return home, which I appreciate. Third time staying at this Marriott Courtyard location and cannot find anything good about it. Shuttle service from the airport is unreliable. Shower in the room was not clean but was disgusting. The food in the lobby Cafe was unlike any Marriott, on the undesirable side. The front desk even wanted to charge me for water
